I felt a little stupid cuz it’s supposed to be easy…but wasn’t, so I deleted everything.
I’ve helped countless business get verified on Google. But recently, I wasn’t so lucky.
A month or so to get your business verified on Google is NOT optimal.
But I tried everything I knew, endless research, countless calls and emails to Google support…nothing worked.
Sometimes the best solutions are the most stupid simple.
Today, I finally thought, “What if it’s just one big glitch? Why not just start over?”
So I deleted everything and started over DOING THE EXACT SAME STEPS AS ALWAYS….
And wouldn’t you know it? Blue checkmarks for everyone. No, seriously, it was that simple.
I pride myself on being an advocate for my clients and not stopping till barriers are crossed. So this was really wearing on me that it wasn’t working.
Valuable lesson learned: Next time something isn’t working the way it should when you’ve done all you should…it might not be you…it might just be a glitch. You might just have to restart.
